Getting Big!

Can't believe this week marks 30 weeks! Just 10 more to go!
30 Weeks! my belly sticks out farther than my boobs!

I am definitely starting to waddle and slow down a bit. Little things like cooking dinner and doing laundry are all of a sudden hard to do and I have to give myself major pep talks to get them done. I try to remind myself to keep doing these things until I just can't anymore. Its only gonna get worse right?

I feel pretty luck I guess. I feel like I've had an easy pregnancy. No morning sickness. Never thrown up, not once. Really the only complaint I've had is the daily swelling of my hands and feet. I started swelling before that second little line would show up. Its not painful, so really I feel like I can't even complain. I had 14 weeks straight of daily-around the clock heartburn and indigestion. But as suddenly as it came on, it stopped. I've been heartburn free for several weeks now!

I haven't worn my ring for months now, but I just wanted
to see how far I could get it on.

I guess we unexpectedly hit a little bump in road over Christmas Break. My glucose screening came back with elevated levels. They didn't really outright say that I had Gestational Diabetes, but essentially that's what it is. I had to go see a Nutritionist who taught me how to check my blood sugar and gave me a diet to stick to. I've been doing good checking my blood sugar and I am comforted to know that when I eat what I am supposed to, my blood sugar levels are great! No more juice of any kind or Dr. Pepper. No more brownies or chocolate or anything delicious. I can only have rice, pasta, potatoes, cereal or bread in very small portions. Its kinda sad actually. I'm pregnant. I feel like I should have free pass to eat whatever I want and as much as I want. Sigh. Its OK. As long as baby Bryce comes out healthy, it will all be worth it.
Now we just need to get started on the crib skirt.
Oh! and get a mattress.

View from the door. Need some curtains or something!

Just disregard the messy bookshelf. It will have cute baby things on it soon!
